First things first. I finished the mawpup launcher I started painting last week. Here’s the result:

I love the little model. It’s gorgeous and the raft-on-the-water does it justice. It’s a lovely addition to my goblin army.
But enough goblins for now.
Queen Mismeria
Recently, I finished a Lost Kingdoms swamp queen. In that blog post, I write that I really want a titan-esque model for the new Kingdoms of Men hero called: The Monarch.
André printed another Lost Kingdoms model for me: queen Mismeria. It’s a lovely model with a lot of character, as do most Lost Kingdoms models! As predicted, the model is large, huge even. Here’s a number of pictures to show her true size: (Credits to André for sharing the hype)

This picture shows the model without wings or rider compared to André’s Hrimm-model and a human clansman. Bear in mind that Hrimm is really huge, standing 20cm tall.
The beast (without wings) is almost 12 cm tall, so big enough to be titan-esque. Seen from above, one can see she will (just about) fit on a 75×75, making her a lot larger than my vampire-on-undead-dragon.

As soon as the actual model has arrived, I’ll spraypaint her and show the actual size.
The Hype is Huge, as I cannot wait to start painting this model! And there’s a deadline, a tournament on the 12th!
Painting tally
as usual, I keep track of my pile of shame counting the number of newly accrued miniatures compared to those actually finished!
I counted my mawpup launcher back in the day as 3 models. (dunno why), so completing it counts as three too.
- start -1
- painted + 3
- Gained one model (Queen Mismeria) -1
- Total = +1!
We’re back in the positive numbers again! Yeah! This is well, since painting the queen will most likely take some time….

Love the models and the blue goblins! Keep it up. I am going to borrow the tally method, but I may be starting a bit “behind” to the tune of -200
