As the Tournament Dortsche Krijgsheren is around the corner, I managed to finish my army.
This blog post shows the army and the army list and tallies the hobby achievement.

Showcase
I love the bright colours! Purple is not really my colour (as I usually do in blues and yellows), but I can see the combination of purple and green working.
That said, as the army progressed, the monsters gravitated towards bright purple-and-pink, which -in hindsight- could have been better in green hues with purple accents.
That said, I love the results and the army as a whole is a great new addition to my Kings of War collection.
The models are mainly 3d prints (berserkers, hydra) as well as a pair of upscaled Mantic wyrm riders from the Vault as Nagarri. The warlock is a 3d printed ogre, I painted one time as a test model for my ogre army which happened to have the right colours. The gargoyles are my old GW giant bat models which have had their paint job and bases upgraded. Finally, the sacrificial imps are six Mantic Goblins painted in this army colour’s scheme.
Army List

The army list is a fairly clasical alpha strike list which focusses on the new berserkers. (use them before they nerf’em) and the new formation. We’ll see how it works out as I tested the list a grand total of two times.
Painting tally:
A reoccuring part of this blog is the where I keep track of my minis waiting for paint, counting my number of newly accrued miniatures compared to those actually finished!
the painted models in this page total 14 models:
- hydra
- 2 nagarri
- 5 berserkers. (1 horde and 1 apostate)
- 6 goblin-y models. (used as companion to the nagarri and as sacrificial imps)
I got 2 new models (the nagarri)
Totalling:
- start +23
- painted +11
- new models -2
- Total: +32
As this army is done now, I have no plans for the near future. Usually that changes right after a tournament.
